What it includes

Every time, without asking

  • Assess cabinet construction and existing coatings
  • Compare painted and refinished options
  • Plan door removal, hardware handling, and workspace protection
  • Confirm finish samples and care instructions

What it does not

So the estimate is the invoice

  • Work outside the agreed written scope is priced separately.
  • Specialist investigation, concealed repairs, and related finish work must be identified before they are included.

How it is priced

Project size, preparation, surface condition, access, and selected coatings determine the estimate. These example ranges are for demonstration only.

Ranges for a conversation. The written estimate after the walk is the number, and the invoice is that number unless you sign a change.

  • A small kitchen, about 20 openings$3,200 to $5,500
  • A typical kitchen, about 30 openings$4,500 to $8,500
  • A large kitchen with an island, 40 or more$7,000 to $13,000
  • A bath vanity$600 to $1,400

What you decide

Your calls, with our push

  • Assess cabinet construction and existing coatings
  • Compare painted and refinished options
  • Plan door removal, hardware handling, and workspace protection

What to expect

While we are there

  • Review the work areas, access needs, and likely disruption before scheduling.
  • Confirm material availability and any inspections that affect the sequence.
  • Agree how progress, questions, and changes will be communicated.
  • Review completed work against the scope and retain the relevant care information.

Questions we get

The ones people ask on the walk.

Can my existing cabinets be painted?
Many cabinets can be repainted, but suitability depends on the material, condition, and existing finish. An assessment should establish whether refinishing is a worthwhile investment before a color is selected.
How is cabinet painting and refinishing priced?
The estimate depends on the project size, existing conditions, access, materials, and work included. Any figures shown here are demonstration planning examples, not a contractor quote.
What happens if the scope changes?
The proposed change should explain the additional or omitted work, price, and schedule effect so it can be reviewed before proceeding.
