What it includes

Every time, without asking

  • Identify walls, ceilings, trim, and doors in the scope
  • Review repairs, existing finishes, and room access
  • Select colors and sheens for each surface
  • Plan furniture protection, cleanup, and room-by-room access

What it does not

So the estimate is the invoice

  • Work outside the agreed written scope is priced separately.
  • Specialist investigation, concealed repairs, and related finish work must be identified before they are included.

How it is priced

Project size, preparation, surface condition, access, and selected coatings determine the estimate. These example ranges are for demonstration only.

Ranges for a conversation. The written estimate after the walk is the number, and the invoice is that number unless you sign a change.

  • One bedroom, walls only$450 to $900
  • A living room with ceiling and trim$1,200 to $2,600
  • Three to five rooms$2,500 to $6,500
  • Whole interior, about 2,000 sq ft$7,000 to $15,000

What you decide

Your calls, with our push

  • Identify walls, ceilings, trim, and doors in the scope
  • Review repairs, existing finishes, and room access
  • Select colors and sheens for each surface

What to expect

While we are there

  • Review the work areas, access needs, and likely disruption before scheduling.
  • Confirm material availability and any inspections that affect the sequence.
  • Agree how progress, questions, and changes will be communicated.
  • Review completed work against the scope and retain the relevant care information.

Questions we get

The ones people ask on the walk.

How should I choose an interior paint finish?
Start with the room, the surface condition, and how often it needs cleaning. Review sample boards in your own lighting and compare the performance guidance for the specific paint product.
How is interior house painting priced?
The estimate depends on the project size, existing conditions, access, materials, and work included. Any figures shown here are demonstration planning examples, not a contractor quote.
What happens if the scope changes?
The proposed change should explain the additional or omitted work, price, and schedule effect so it can be reviewed before proceeding.
